Meet Our Staff
Pastor Gordon Richardson was born in Oceanside, California. He grew up in Revival Taberancle of San Diego, Pastored by Rev. David Gray. At the age of 6, he received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and was baptized in Jesus name. In 1969 Gordon Richardson served in the Army. God spoke to him about serving Him wile sitting at a train station in Denmark. That was a turning point of his life. Upon returning Home he rededicated his life to God.
Two years later at the age of 22, Gordon received his license to preach with the United Pentecostal Chruch International. Preaching with fervency on street corners, parks and in front of bars, Rev. Richardson began his ministry for God. He soon became assistant pastor for Rev. Berl Stevenson of El Cajon, California. While assisting, he met and married Sandie Craft of Fresno.
The Richardson's left El Cajon to assist Rev. Paul Price of Napa. There they assisted for about five years before pastoring their first church. They have 3 children, Justin, Aaron and Amy.
Pastor Richardson has been ministering for over thirty seven years. He has served on serveral boards for the Western District, and is currently the Western District Home Missions Secretary. Also serves as the CEO of the AACTS (Adolescents, Adults Choosing True Solutions) program. Which is a faith-based educational and recovery program.
For the past 25 years, Rev. Richardson has pastored here at Tabernacle of Praise in Manteca. He has ministered in conferences both locally and internationally. He has been involved with the community of Manteca, and was a charter Board Member of Give Every Child a Chance, and is a Senior Pastor in the Community.

Sis Richardson leads our Ladies Ministries here at Tabernacle of Praise. They have socials called Women of Virtue where you will hear direction and encouragement as they share and lift up one another in the Word of God. Feel free to join them on these occasions. We promise you will make a few new friends.
In addition, you will always find Sis Richardson jammin' on the organ as she heads the Music Department of Tabernacle of Praise

Hermano Panameno is a true man of God actually from San Salvador. He has been with Tabernacle of Praise for several years and has the latinos at heart. His beautiful Spirit matches the beautiful latin music you will hear in the Spanish Service every Sunday afternoon at 1:30 pm and Wednesday evening at 7:30pm.
Hermana Panameno can make some mean tamales! Looking for good food and a great time of fellowship? They are the ones to meet.
Joel & Jennifer Nevarez - Youth Leaders of Youth on Fire(209) 603-5808 Youth On Fire
Youth ages 13 and up meet every Friday night at 7:30. They lead their own service and Bro Joel expounds the Word of God. Bro & Sis Nevarez are still young enough to relate to today's teens and their struggles. How would you like your teen to be more responsible, considerate, and respectful? Bro Joel & Sis Jenn are the ones you want to meet!
Passionate... that's how you describe Bro & Sis Lopez. Bro Eddie not only directs the whole Sunday School Department, but he drives the bus because they love those kids! He's known for stopping for a special treat on the way home for those little ones. Because, like I said... he loves those Kids!
Sis Angela leads "Kids Power Hour" the first Sunday of each month. The kids really look forward to that day when all the elementary age classes meet together for puppets, games, and fun. Your youngster will love it because... we love your kids!
Matthew & Clara Ortiz - Usher Ministry
As our Head Usher, Bro Matt's bright smile draws you into the sanctuary of Tabernacle of Praise. He is always ready and available to answer questions you mayhave or point you in the right direction. His wife, Sis Clara, is just as friendly and sweet as she looks.
